Today in class we had a guest speaker from a major car company and we had a very good discussion about how digital and social advertising is being used now.  I just learned that one car company spends 40 MILLION DOLLARS a month!!!! on search advertising! hows that for a budget?

Yes the occupy wall street revolution was shut down and taken over yesterday and is a sad day for all people who wanted to see social change in the world. 
The reason for posting about this is the simple fact that it was a cultural revolution that was started by social and digital media.  When looking at the Occupy movement it truly was a social phenomenon that was non violent (except for the police brutality)  and wanted to change things for the better.  This was all done through the same means as digital marketing and proves that social media can connect people and revolutionize economies.

Internships For Digital Marketing

The internship coordinator at University of Michigan Dearborn is very dedicated to his job and really looks out for the students here at the University.  I just got done having a conversation with him about the potential for internships and careers as a digital marketer.  He was very eager to say that there has been a huge demand for marketers with digital marketing experience, so much that he could see the companies foaming at the mouth for our talent.  Keep up the studies and practice your SEO skills to stay sharp in the field.

When used effectively you can maximize efficiency of costs when incurred for advertising.  Go to google and sign up to get Adwords certified, it costs 50 bucks but you can put it on your resume which will help you rake in the Doh which is what we all go to school for right?!
